A manufacturer is recalling a protein powder because it may contain pieces of metal. We strongly advise against consuming affected products.
Decathlon is recalling the Whey Chocolate 30g protein powder. Due to a manufacturing defect, the product may contain metallic foreign bodies that pose a health risk. Consumption is not recommended.
The website “produktwarning.eu” reports that the recall is limited to batch 2429700006 with a best-before date of 02/2026. Other Decathlon batches and protein powders are not affected.
The purchase price for affected products will be refunded
Affected products can be returned to any Decathlon branch and the purchase price will be refunded.
It is further informed that Decathlon customer service can be reached for questions from Monday to Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on +49 (0) 6202 97 81 300.
