In the CHIP test, the FritzBox 7590 AX is characterized by good performance and excellent functionality, but the router does not have 2.5 gigabit interfaces. The rather high price was also criticized, especially since AVM initially called for 319 euros. In this respect, the offer together with the FritzRepeater 1200 AX for a total of 259 euros is a real bargain. You won’t find the bundle anywhere cheaper at the moment.

The predecessor AVM FritzBox 7590 is now available as standard for less than 200 euros, but here you have to do without both the new Wi-Fi 6 and the repeater.
