New bank details for transfers: Many license fee payers have to change over immediately
Many Germans have to change their way of paying their broadcasting fees with immediate effect. In some areas there are now new bank details to consider.
As the ARD ZDF Deutschlandradio post service currently reports on its website, the bank details of NDR, RBB and the joint account of all state broadcasters will change from January 1, 2023.
Users who pay the fees by bank transfer or standing order must take the new bank details and the resulting changing IBAN numbers into account in the bank details so that their payment arrives as usual.
Broadcast contribution: These are the new bank details
Below you can see the new IBAN for the respective broadcasters. These have been in effect since January 1, 2023.
NDR:
RBB:
- State Bank of Hesse-Thuringia
- IBAN: DE85 5005 0000 0000 2345 67
- before: Commerzbank Potsdam
Joint account of all state broadcasters:
- State Bank of Hesse-Thuringia
- IBAN: DE07 5005 0000 0000 3456 78
- before: Postbank Cologne
The ARD ZDF Deutschlandradio Contribution Service also communicated the new bank details in its letters to users. The new bank details are also given on the payment requests and the attached transfer slips.
Nothing will change for all users who have their broadcasting fees debited via the SEPA direct debit mandate. There is no need to fill out transfer slips and it is impossible to overlook payments, use the old IBAN or make incorrect transfers.
