The wide roads in Harare that lead from the airport to the city and to parliament have recently been freshly tarred. Residents report newly planted palm trees along some routes. The construction of several villas was even planned for the heads of state and government from 15 African countries when they are expected to attend the Southern African Development Community (SADC) summit in the Zimbabwean capital this Saturday.
