Russian troops are increasingly destroying civilian infrastructure in Ukraine. Prime Minister Schmyhal explains in an interview what helps against Iranian kamikaze drones and asks for quick support.
Prime Minister, as we speak online in Kyiv, sirens are wailing and explosions can be heard. How is it to govern a country in such a situation?
We work normally. And when the sirens wail, we move to offices that are a little safer.
You have a family and children. Aren’t you afraid that right now you might be hit by a Russian drone?
All Ukrainians worry about their families. Me too, because I am a father like others. And when the sirens wail, my family goes to the air raid shelter like everyone else. So now I’m more or less calm and doing my job.
