On Monday evening, customers reported problems with Telekom products. A problem seemed to have been fixed a few hours earlier, before the reports skyrocketed again. As of late last night, the issues appear to have been resolved.
Many Telekom customers reported disruptions on Monday evening. The fixed network and the Internet are particularly affected. Around 30 percent probably also had problems with the mobile Internet, and one in ten even reported a complete failure.
A few hours earlier, the error reports shot up before the problem seemed to be solved. More than 2,000 customers had reported disruptions around 4:30 p.m. Shortly before 7 p.m., the number of reported problem cases rose again.
Major disruption at Telekom: the number of reports rose rapidly
Around 8:45 p.m., the number of reports increased rapidly, at times more than 4,500 fault reports were reported to the “allestoerungen.de” portal. By 9:15 p.m., there were already more than 6,000 reports.
In the meantime, the provider seems to have largely gotten the problems under control. User reports have been going to zero since midnight. What caused the disruption is still unknown.
