Rajat Sood was born on Sunday, 10 November 1996 (age 25 years; as of 2021) in Delhi. His zodiac sign is Scorpio.
He did his elementary schooling at Sri Guru Nanak Public School, Delhi, from 2002 to 2006. Thereafter, he attended Titiksha Public School, Delhi, to pursue his high school education (2006-2015). He was good at academics and sports in his school days. While studying at Titiksha Public School, Rajat became a captain of his school’s cricket and Kho Kho team. He was awarded the Scholar Badge at 5 Academic sessions. Meanwhile, he also headed the NCC batch for the national camp with Delhi Battalion-6. After completing his schooling, Rajat enrolled himself in the Delhi College of Engineering (2015-2019) to pursue a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech). While studying at the Delhi College of Engineering, Rajat was a part of the Madhurima, The Music Society of DTU and Sahitya, the Literary & Debating Society of DTU. Soon, he began writing his own poetry and starting performing it on various stage shows.

Career
Rajat Sood started his career as an Event Executive with Clock Work Events, New Delhi, in March 2016. As a part of his job at Clock Work Events, Rajat worked on indoor and outdoor auditions of the Indian talent-based reality TV show India’s Got Talent: Season 7. During the auditions, he took care of the logistics and hospitality of around 6000 participants. In January 2018, Rajat joined Engifest DTU, New Delhi, as the Head of Hospitality. There he led a team of around 150 persons, supervising the hospitality requirements of celebrities like Amit Trivedi, Nucleya, Piyush Mishra, and Dr Kumar Vishwas.
In February 2018, as a part of the Engifest group, Sood hosted a concert in Delhi for the Punjabi singer Guri.
In the same year, he worked as the Chief Event Coordinator at The Paralympics Sports Meet 2018, Delhi, which was organised by the Sports Authority of India. Subsequently, he hosted a concert for the Punjabi singer Mankirt Aulakh. The concert was held in Delhi.
Thereafter, he hosted two live talk shows for The Viral Fever, one with the cast of TVF’s Kota Factory and another with TVF’s College Romance fame Keshav Sadhna.
In January 2019 he hosted the stand-up pomedy show Khayaalbaaz (solo show combining poetry with comedy), which he performed at various college festivals in India like IITs, BITS Pilani, DTU, AIIMS Rishikesh, NIT Delhi, Punjabi University Patiala, PEC Chandigarh, Army College of Medical Sciences Delhi, Indraprastha University (Maharaja Agarsen Institute of Technology, Northern India Engineering College, Bhagwan Parshuram Institute of Technology) and Delhi University (Shayama Prasad Mukherjee College, Zakir Hussain college). Popular for its uniqueness amongst the audience, the show has been performed by Sood at around 50 stages in around 10 cities.
In 2021, he participated in Sau Karod Ka Kavi, India’s first-ever poetry reality TV show. The show aired on DD Kisaan and DD National channels. Rajat emerged as one of the finalists of the show.
He has also worked as a lyricist, rapper, and creative director at Full Power Entertainment for projects like ‘The 21st Century Song’ and ‘The Pehla Nasha Parody.’
As an emcee and entertainer, Rajat has hosted more than 100 events in various domains of public speaking including cultural, technical, motivational, social awareness, corporate, and private gigs.
In November 2021, Rajat started working as a creative director at Stars N Stripes Media Pvt Ltd. While working there, Sood envisaged Network Generated Content (NGC) for various shows broadcasted by Viacom18 on Colors and MTV channels like Bigg Boss, Comedy Nights with Kapil, and Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi. Rajat owns a YouTube channel titled Rajat Sood on which he uploads his comedy and poetry videos. The channel was created on 13 March 2019 and has around 12.9K subscribers on it (as of 2022). In 2022, Rajat participated in Sony TV’s reality show India’s Laughter Champion. The show also broadcasts on the OTT platform: SonyLiv.
