Prime Day 2024 ends today, officially on Wednesday at 11:59 p.m., and Amazon is keeping prices down. Smartphones are among the top sellers at the event and we check which offers are really worthwhile so that you can snap them up without hesitation. Google Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro price drops at Amazon
Google is also offering generous discounts on its latest smartphones, the 8th generation Pixel devices, for Prime Day.
- Google Pixel 8 for 542.87 euros instead of 799 Euro RRP (-32%) – Savings: 256.83 euros
- Google Pixel 8 Pro for 725 euros instead of 1099 euros (-34%) – Savings: 374 euros
The Pixel 8 Pro, Google's flagship, impressed in the CHIP test with its AI support, excellent technology and high-quality workmanship. The bright OLED display and the powerful Tensor G3 chip are particularly impressive. The triple camera with 5x optical zoom delivers realistic images. The 6.7-inch device is waterproof and guarantees updates for 7 years. One disadvantage is the battery, which lasts less than 12 hours at 60 Hz. The high-end smartphone costs 1,100 euros at launch and offers first-class performance.
Samsung on Prime Day: Galaxy devices with discount
Just in time for Prime Day, the manufacturer Samsung is lowering prices and offering many popular models in the Galaxy series with big discounts: With the A55, for example, customers get an excellent device in the mid-range smartphone range. The Galaxy S23 is last year's flagship and the Galaxy S24 Plus joins the manufacturer's current top models:
