The links between Do Kwon, founder of Terraform Labs, and a Montenegrin politician are the subject of disturbing allegations. According to the South Korean news agency Yonhap, Do Kwon illegally supported Milojko Spajić, president of the centrist Montenegrin party “Europe now!” “.
Do Kwon in connection with a Montenegrin politician?
According to South Korea’s Yonhap news agency, Do kwon would have financially supported Milojko Spajić, the president of the Montenegrin centrist party “Europe Now!” », in a concealed and therefore illegal manner. Indeed, in Montenegro, it is forbidden to participate in the financing of electoral campaigns without benefiting from the citizenship of the country.
Furthermore, any financial contributions made must be reported to the Anti-Corruption Office, which would not have been the case here.
The information was revealed by none other than the principal concerned, namely the founder of Terraform Labs, Do Kwon, real name Kwon Do-hyung. The latter would actually sent a handwritten letter to the Prime Minister of Montenegro, Dritan Abazovićas well as other influential people in the country’s political sphere to discuss his links with Milojko Spajić.
Although it has now been publicly revealed a few days ago, the Europe Now! – which is campaigning for Montenegro’s accession to the European Union – is all the same the favorite party for the polls in the early general elections which are currently taking place.
The information will however have had the effect of a small shock in the Montenegrin political environment, although the candidate quickly brushed off these allegations while reiterating the key measures of its program, namely the increase in wages and pensions, among others.

A troubled story that deserves clarification
According to local newspaper Vijesti, Do Kwon reportedly previously met Milojko Spajić in Belgrade in 2022, when he was already the subject of a red notice issued by Interpol. This information, together with the letter sent by the founder of Terra (LUNA), was discussed in the country’s National Security Council last Wednesday.
In this same newspaper, the candidate from Europe now! claims to have quickly distanced himself from Do Kwon, who is currently under house arrest, after his fate was reviewed several times by the authorities. Spajić even apparently lost a few marbles himself in the collapse of Terra:
“Do Kwon is a fraudster who defrauded millions of people, including my friends and the company I worked for, when we invested in this project in early 2018. […] It’s a fabricated conspiracy theory to prevent Europe Now! to win the elections. »
Dritan Abazović, the Prime Minister of Montenegro to whom Do Kwon wrote, also spoke about the case:
“While Spici’s contacts with Kwon Do-hyung are true in a situation where the United States and Korea are asking for Kwon Do-hyung’s extradition, it is not good for Montenegro. We must not become a hotbed of international scammers. »
Milojko Spajić also acknowledged having worked for Terraform Labs ” in the early days of the business » in 2018, but formally denied having received any financial support from Do Kwon.
