TORONTO, ON, JANUARY 7, 2025/insPRESS/ – The Commonwell Mutual Insurance Group (The Commonwell) successfully enhanced their systems by implementing CSIO’s Application Programming Interface (API) Security Standards and, in doing so, achieved CSIO’s API Security Standards Certification.
By adopting these Standards, The Commonwell ensures that robust security measures are in place for information shared between their systems and Broker Management Systems (BMS) via an API endpoint, such as policyholder details and quotes. CSIO’s INNOTECH Advisory Committee and its API Security Working Group meet regularly to update the Standards so that members who use them benefit from the latest API security best practices.
