The Uncertain Kingdom Fund, which disburses growth coin to U.Okay. movie tasks, is opening submissions for its second spherical from Could 23-June 20.

The fund has its roots in a 2019 initiative to create an anthology of 21 quick movies celebrating British tradition, which was launched in 2020 and is now streaming broadly. Not like the anthology sequence, the event fund won’t fund manufacturing.
The staff behind the fund consists of govt director John Jencks and growth executives Georgia Goggin and Isabel Freer.
Jencks stated: “It’s such an honor to foster the way forward for British filmmaking and help these whose assets could not match their expertise. With the unsure nature of this trade, our fund is there to cheer on those that persevere.”
