On Friday evening, the candidate for the American presidential election Robert F. Kennedy Jr. announced he was suspending his campaign for the White House. Although he had little chance of being elected in a country with a bipartisan tradition, the person concerned nevertheless caused a sensation last year by becoming the first candidate in American history to accept donations in Bitcoin (BTC).

Still, he makes it clear that he is not withdrawing from the White House race altogether. That's true for now, at least, because his ballot would only be removed from polling stations in a dozen statesespecially where voters will have difficulty deciding between Donald Trump or Kamala Harris.

About the former president, Robert F. Kennedy also chose to side with him while he was originally a member of the Democratic Party:

Regarding the said difficulties, we can notably cite the fact that he has alienated several of his sisters and one of his brothers, who have also published a public platform in which they condemn this choice and affirm their support for Kamala Harris :

For his part, Donald Trump, who was holding a rally in Phoenix, Arizona, was supposed to welcome “a surprise guest.” It turned out that it was indeed Robert F. Kennedy Jr.:

If he were to be elected, we can therefore expect that Donald Trump Offers Robert F. Kennedy Jr. Job within his administration.

On Polymarket, Donald Trump is given a slight lead over Kamala Harris, while the MAGA memecoin in his image has progressed by 5% in 24 hours at the time of writing, to a price of $3.88 and a capitalization of $171 million.
For its part, Bitcoin (BTC) seems to have reacted well to the news and is now trading at $63,950, up 5.5%. It should be noted, however, that this increase can mainly be explained by the comments of Jerome Powell, the chairman of the Federal Reserve (FED), who suggests an upcoming rate cut.
