Unlimited tariff under 20 euros: Freenet makes mobile phone contracts significantly cheaper during “Black Week”.

Launched in September with a new coat of paint, the Freenet mobile phone brand Mega SIM is once again offering low-cost mobile phone tariffs for frequent surfers. The entry is 20 GB of data volume in the LTE network from o2 for 14.99 euros per month. There is also an unlimited tariff for only 19.99 euros per month. All contracts can be terminated on a monthly basis and remain cheap if you conclude them now.

Mega SIM, the slightly different mobile operator

Dieter Bohlen has been Freenet’s figurehead and testimonial for over a year now (we reported). So it’s hardly surprising that the former pop titan, in his role as CEO (Chief Entertainment Officer), also advertises the Black Week offers of the recently launched sub-brand Mega SIM does – and finds only one typical word for it: “Mega!”

Indeed has Mega SIM has two decisive advantages, not to say unique selling points, compared to other mobile phone providers: The (new) contracts are on the one hand monthly cancellableso there is no minimum term, and on the other hand guarantee a “lifetime pricing“ – means in plain language: The price at which you have booked is valid continuous and will not be increased even after the usual 24 months.

Others too cost traps Fortunately, one looks in vain for subscriptions or additional options that are often hidden in the small print.

Our conclusion: frequent surfers get their money’s worth

The Black Week offers from Mega SIM are really impressive. Although there are always D-Netz tariffs, some of which offer more data volume for even less money, you are not surfing at a speed of up to 225 Mbit/s. In addition, the contracts usually have a term of 24 months and then become significantly more expensive. at Mega SIM on the other hand, there are neither long-term contractual commitments nor hidden costs. After the data volume has been used up, however, the provider throttles it down to an extremely slow 32 Kbit/s. With the competitors it is usually at least 64 Kbit/s.

Permanent surfers will find in theFree unlimited Smart“ A really cheap tariff with no volume limit, whereby the data transmission rate here is 10 Mbit/s or only 5 Mbit/s in the upload. Downloading and sending larger files can therefore take a little longer. In any case, you don’t take any risks with any of the Mega SIM tariffs, especially since you can cancel monthly – for example if there is insufficient network coverage Telefónica or o2. The mobile phone provider has caught up significantly in recent years.
