If a friend or acquaintance posts something in WhatsApp status, most are curious about what is hidden behind it. But of course you do not necessarily have to reveal your curiosity: If you would rather secretly look at the WhatsApp status, you can do this with a small change in data protection.
Watch WhatsApp status secretly: the following setting makes it possible
- Open
Whatsapp and go to “Settings”. - There you will find the item “Data Protection” on which you click.
- Further below is the note “reading confirmations”, which has probably been marked green so far and is therefore activated.
- If you deactivate the reading confirmations, you can view the status of another person undetected.
- In addition, your counterpart is no longer displayed by the two blue checkmarks that you have read the WhatsApp message.
- However, this also applies the other way around: you can no longer see who read your news or looked at your status.
