EIt all started with actress, influencer and former dominatrix Julia Fox saying in a video on Tiktok that growing old is in, hot and sexy. By “old” she understood women like herself. Fox is 32 years old. She will therefore, Fox said, go to court if she sees another product that advertises with the words “anti-aging”: “I will sue because I’m still getting old, no matter if I look at the 500 Put euro serum on your face or not.” The video has been viewed 1.8 million times on Tiktok.
When some commented that 30 wasn’t old, Fox added that she cried on her 27th birthday because from that point on she was no longer in her mid-20s but in her late 20s. This is a problem for women in the entertainment industry.
