The FritzBox 7590 AX is one of the best WLAN routers for the domestic DSL connection. As part of the second Prime Day 2022, Amazon is offering AVM’s WiFi 6-capable top model at an unbeatable price. Interested parties should hurry, because the deal is only valid until tomorrow or while stocks last.
Prime price for a short time: FritzBox 7590 AX significantly cheaper
Although meanwhile Asus the FritzBox 7590 or their successor FritzBox 7590 AX with WiFi 6 dethroned (the colleagues from CHIP reported), the WLAN routers from the German manufacturer AVM are still very popular. No wonder: thanks to her integrated VDSL2 modems they do not require any additional devices and also shine with simple operation and long update supply.
On Prime Day, the current AVM FritzBox 7590 AX for only 214.99 instead of 249 euros (last lowest price in the last 30 days). You also save around 37 euros here compared to the next cheapest dealer. But it’s worth being quick, because the Prime Day deals are only valid for a short time. The “Prime Exclusive Offers”, as the campaign is officially called this time, are still running until Wednesday 12 October 2022 and are only available to Prime members.
CHIP assessment of the AVM FritzBox 7590 AX
In the test, the FritzBox 7590 AX is characterized by good performance and excellent functionality, but the router does not have 2.5 gigabit interfaces. The rather high price was also criticized, especially since AVM initially called for 319 euros. In this respect, the Prime Day offer at 214.99 euros is a real bargain. You won’t find the router anywhere cheaper at the moment.
If the price is still too high (the best price was 210 euros), you can take a look at the predecessor AVM FritzBox 7590, which is available from time to time for less than 200 euros. In line with the higher price, you are of course better equipped for the future with the AX variant – and it will probably not be available much cheaper by the end of the year.
