USA: Ultimately Russia responsible for missile impact

“Ukraine had – and has – every right to defend itself,” said a spokeswoman for the National Security Council. US Chief of Staff: Could not reach Russian counterpart
US Chief of Staff Mark Milley tried in vain to contact his Russian counterpart Valery Gerasimov after the missile hit Poland.
