NAfter the discovery of a male corpse in the Hessian community of Linsengericht in the Main-Kinzig district, investigations into suspected homicide were initiated. As announced by the Hanau public prosecutor and the Gelnhausen criminal police, a walker had reported a lifeless person to the police on Saturday morning near the railway tracks in the An der Burgmühle area.
The police secured traces where the body was found and also used a helicopter and service dogs for this purpose, forensic medicine was also on site. The public prosecutor’s office and the police have not yet released any further information on the investigation. An autopsy and investigations into the identity of the dead man are ongoing.
