Chirag Rumi Batliwalla was born in 1990 (age 32 years; as of 2022) in Mumbai. After completing his schooling, he enrolled himself at the Vishwakarma Maritime Institute to pursue a Bachelor of Science in BS Nautical Science and Maritime Studies (2011- 2012).

On 8 September 2020, Chirag exchanged rings with the Indian actress and his girlfriend Krishna Mukherjee after dating her for around a year. The destination engagement was set up in Manali in a Navy style. While Krishna Mukherjee wore a stunning off-shoulder white gown, Chirag opted for his Navy uniform.

During an interview, while sharing her feelings about her engagement with Chirag, Krishna Mukherjee said,
I’ll be Mrs. next year but yes, it feels great to be with someone forever who’s so loving, caring and funny. Me, my sister and friends did all the preparation and planning but mostly they were taking care of everything and I was just approving them. There are so many surprises for me and my fiance.”
In the same interview, Krishna shared that she had manifested her dream of getting engaged in the hills.

Chirag Batliwalla met Krishna Mukherjee for the first time through a mutual friend in 2021. They instantly fell in love with each other and started dating.

During an interview, talking about how she met Chirag, Krishna Mukherjee said,
We met through mutual friends in December last year and clicked instantly. He is not a part of this industry; he is in the Merchant Navy. I met him for the first time when he was in his uniform and was immediately attracted to him. He isn’t used to my profession, so I am not sharing his name because he is a private person.”

Career
Chirag started working as a sailor (Second Officer) at Bernhard Schulte Shipmanagement in August 2013. He worked there till March 2020 and subsequently, resigned from the position.
