The Crypto.com (CRO) platform has just formalized the installation of its European headquarters in Paris. Registered as a PSAN with the AMF, Crypto.com is following the movement initiated by Binance and even plans to invest 150 million euros to support the establishment of its operations.
Crypto.com settles in the French capital
Paris continues to attract the giants of the cryptocurrency world, especially exchanges. After installing Binance in the capital, it’s Crypto.com’s turn to pack up in the French capital.
Eric Anziani, chief operating officer of Crypto.com, says he is delighted that the company can consolidate its commitment to France and Europe by establishing its regional headquarters in Paris. He adds :
“Our regulatory approval was the first important step in our journey to France, and we look forward to continuing to engage with stakeholders across industries to support the new digital economy in France. […]. »
The establishment of the regional headquarters of Crypto.com in Paris rhymes with the launch of numerous local recruitments.
The company also affirms its desire to strengthen the presence of the Crypto.com brand in the market through activities and training aimed at individuals.
This operation follows the registration of Crypto.com as a service provider on digital assets (PSAN) with the Autorité des marchés financiers (AMF), after having been approved by the Autorité de Contrôle Prudentiel et de libération (ACPR).
Note also that obtaining this status and the entry into application of the MiCA regulation scheduled for 2024, Crypto.com will have a European passport to provide its services to all residents of the European Union.
A strategic choice therefore, which stems from a desire to conquer the European market and stand up to one of its biggest competitors: Binance.
