Controversies
Stopped by a Constable for not Wearing a Seatbelt
In March 2007, while driving a car, Parag was stopped for not wearing a seatbelt by a constable named Narsingh Himabhai. He was fined Rs 100, which he refused to pay initially, but paid it later, under the fake name Maganbhai C Patel. Reportedly, using the fake name heated the argument, in the course of which, Parag’s wife, Minaben slapped the constable and threatened him of breaking his skull. Narsingh filed a complaint against them. The case was resolved in 2011 in the local court of Vadodara.
Death
On 5 October 2022, he died after suffering a heart attack. His last rites were performed in Vadodara, Gujarat.
