If unlimited tariffs are too expensive and cheap tariffs offer too little data volume, you may find the perfect balance in Freenet’s current offer: Freenet offers until Monday 29 August 2022 the 40 GB LTE Allnet Flat in the Telefónica network at a reduced price of 18.99 euros per month on. Compared to the standard price of 34.99 euros, this makes a monthly saving of 16 euros. The one-off connection fee is EUR 39.99, but will be refunded to you if you send an SMS with the text “AP free” to 8362 within 30 days of activation. Since this is a special number, a one-time fee of 19 cents is only charged for sending an SMS.

Otherwise, an SMS flat rate is included in the tariff. You can also make unlimited calls to all networks – thanks to EU roaming also in other countries of the European Union. A special feature is the high surfing speed: While other tariffs often do not allow more than 50 Mbit/s in download and 10 Mbit/s in upload, here you surf with up to 225 Mbit/s (download) or 50 Mbit/s (Upload). Our assessment of the 40 GB LTE Allnet Flat

A data volume of 40 GB is very decent. Even frequent surfers and streaming fans should get through the month with this, especially since the download speed is specified as up to 225 Mbit/s – that’s easily enough for video conferences or telephone calls. Provided, of course, that the o2 or Telefónica network in your area is well developed. The price per gigabyte is less than 50 cents.

You don’t have to do without an all-network flat rate for unlimited telephoning and texting. But don’t forget to get the connection fee back. In addition, there is no minimum contract period (so you can cancel monthly), but the regular monthly price of 34.99 euros is due again from the 25th month. We therefore recommend changing in good time.
