Amazon customers have also been targeted by scammers over the past weekend. As the consumer advice center writes, e-mails allegedly from Amazon indicate that the user’s account is currently blocked and all orders and subscriptions have been cancelled.
The reason: Supposedly, “unusual activities” were found in the affected account. In order to protect the user, the account activities have therefore been temporarily blocked.
In order to restore the account, the customer only has to verify himself via a link embedded in the e-mail. To do this, user data would have to be entered, such as the login data. Failure to do so will result in the account being banned permanently.

If you have received such an email, you should not be unsettled, the content of the message is fictitious. Therefore, you should not click on the link in the e-mail and under no circumstances should you enter your data in succession. Otherwise, these end up directly in the hands of the fraudsters, who can thus gain control of your account.
Ideally, ignore the email and move it straight to your spam folder. In this way, your mailing client learns to recognize such mails directly as phishing and to move them automatically. If you have doubts about whether your Amazon account could really be blocked, log in via the website or the app. Then at the latest you will see whether something is really wrong with your account.
