Andy Barberis has been appointed head of healthcare and casualty claims for the US and will also oversee global surety claims. He joined BHSI in 2021 as senior vice president of US claims. Barberis has more than 30 years of commercial lines claims experience, including as an insurance defense and coverage attorney.
Amanda Sorsak has been named head of first-party claims for Canada. She joined the company in 2015 as vice president of property, energy and marine claims, and has held increasingly senior positions throughout her nearly two decades in the insurance industry.
Paul Emerson has been appointed head of third-party claims for Canada. He joined BHSI in 2015 as vice president of liability claims. Emerson has more than 20 years of experience handling commercial liability claims and litigation defense.”
