Farbane Woods: Map and Boss Locations – V Rising
Below you will find the Map of Farbane Woods in “V Rising” as well as the approximate Locations of all bosses in the region. These are numbered according to their recommended strength and equipment according to the Altar of Blood.
Under normal circumstances, you interact with the blood altar to track your prey. However, you should be able to visit these areas and fight your enemies without tracking them down.
Note the ones with an asterisk
assigned numbers refer to bosses who are either roaming the nearby roads or have special requirements. And finally, it is worth remembering that bosses reappear after a few hours in the game.
- The Alpha Wolf is very likely the first boss you will find in the game.

Missiles cause Chaos Burn, a damage-over-time (DOT) effect. Once you defeat them, you’ll gain access to the “Devourer,” a structure you use to disassemble items to get raw materials.

When his health drops, he casts green skulls that swarm around him. Skeletons are also appearing more and more, so skills like Blood Rite and Sword Weapon Whirlwind are essential for crowd control.

roaming near the central section where Farbane Woods roams, you’re likely to run into him early in the game – and he’s likely to be knocking you out of the way at this point. His abilities include quick melee attacks that cause bursts of flame. At 50 percent of his life points, he uses his crossbow, which also triggers fire in the area.
