A two-year-old from Texas stole his mother’s cell phone and ordered a total of 31 cheeseburgers online for delivery. The cost, including a 25 percent tip, was over $90.
If you’re still looking for reasons why you shouldn’t let your smartphone out of your sight in front of children, a Texas mother posted on Facebook that her two-year-old son snatched her smartphone in a careless moment, according to CNN.
Since the boy likes to look at himself in the reflection of the cell phone, the mother wasn’t worried at first. But when he started tapping the screen, she began to have doubts. As she quickly noticed, it was already too late at that point: A few seconds later she received a notification from the DoorDash delivery service that her order had been received, but that it would take a little longer due to the “large quantity”.
Ordered 31 cheeseburgers from McDonald’s: Two-year-old shows no regrets
When the young mother looked at the bill, she didn’t believe her eyes at first. Her son had ordered a total of 31 cheeseburgers. The total cost was $91.70 — in large part because the boy left a generous tip of 25 percent of the total.
Since “no one in her family likes cheeseburgers,” the mom posted a message on Facebook asking anyone who was hungry to come by. Also included in the post is a picture of the boy, who by the look on his face doesn’t seem to have any regrets about his expensive order.
